General Information

Visa and Health Regulation: Visa requirements vary from time to time and should be checked with nearest tourist office of diplomatic mission. Health certificates are required but these vary with country of origin and should be checked with relevant. Yellow fever and cholera vaccinations are recommended. Anti malaria medication should be started prior to arrival.

Meals: On safari, meals are provided on full board basis. There is full English / Continental breakfast. Lunch is often buffet style set out with salads, cold, hot starters - hot main dishes. Dinner is 3-5 courses with a combination of dishes.

Tented camps: These range from simple to luxurious and provide spacious twin beds with mosquito netting, private bathrooms and verandas.

Photography: Films and batteries are available at most lodges but in restricted stocks and sizes so it is suggested you bring your own supply.

Prices: Prices given on request are based on costs prevailing, itinerary and class of accommodation and are subjected to change without notice.

Rates: Our rates are inclusive of accommodation, vehicle and driver, (Guide), as per itinerary, all meals on Safari, entrance fees to National Parks and Game Reserves, and other attractions to be bourne by the client unless otherwise requested.

Accommodation: Based on two persons sharing a twin room with private bath are provided. Singe rooms are available at additional cost. Hotels/lodges are named as an indication of category and rooms may be reserved at other similar hotels/lodges.

Reservations

  1. No contract shall be made and no reservation will be valid between the Company and the Client until both have confirmed in writing.
  2. A 10% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm booking.

Terms of payment

  1. Payment of the full price of the holiday with any additional charges imposed by any supplementary invoice, are payable on the date shown on confirmation or invoice. 50% on confirmation, the balance before arrival into country.

Prices and Charges

  1. The invoice price may increase due to surcharges through government action, currency fluctuation, fuel price increase, airport charges and taxes, increases in scheduled airfares.
  2. If the Client should for this reason wish to cancel, the Client must do so by giving the company 14 days notice from the date of issue.
  3. Any currency fluctuations, are deemed to be in favor of the company.

Cancellation

  1. Cancellation by the Company may occur through "Force Majeure", in this event the Company shall first offer alternative routes and dates but shall use its best endeavors to offer a holiday of similar standard and cost.
  2. Notice of cancellation by the Client must be made in writing, signed by the person who signed the booking form. Cancellation is effective from the date of receipt by the Company of such notice.

Alterations

  1. Owing to political or environmental changes, rescheduling of air routes and times - the company may change your planned itinerary. Should this occur the Company will consult with the client and provide an alternative itinerary of a similar standard.
  2. A major change of the holiday arrangement might involve a change of airport, area of travel, outward and return time of departure. Flight delays are not considered to be alterations by the Company.

Liabilities

  1. The Company will not accept responsibility over things, persons or matters over which it has no direct control nor will it be held liable for death, injury or illness caused to clients.
  2. The company and its agents act only as agents of passengers in all matters relating to hotel / lodge accommodation, tour transport, and shall not be liable for delays, loss or damage in any manner.
  3. The company's liabilities to passengers carried in its own vehicles is governed by the laws of the country in which the tour takes place, and no other country.
  4. The company reserves the right to sub-contract for all or part of its services. The company cannot be held responsible for loss or damage to baggage.

Governing Law

This contract will be governed by Kenyan law and the parties submit to the jurisdiction of the Kenyan courts. Any claims necessitating the involvement of the company will be governed by Kenyan law.

Wild animals

Kindly note, your Safari may take you into close contact with wild animals. The Company cannot be held responsible in the unlikely event that an attack should take place. The Company, nor their employees, nor their agents cannot be held responsible for any attack, injury or accident that may occur during the Safari. General assistance shall be afforded to clients who, through misadventure, suffer illness, personal injury, or death arising out of an activity which does not form part of the inclusive holiday.

Travel insurance

The Client must insure against cancellations, curtailment, medical, personal accident and all other usual travel risks, through their Insurers.
